The lakes offer a unique scenery all of it's own.We also visit Carratraca, a pretty white village and the natural park of El Chorro, with its stunning gorge and caves.

Antequera, Torcal and villages
Antequera is steeped in history - from 2500BC to modern day, humans have used this important area as a place of settlement. Visit the dolmans, which are ancient tribal burial chambers, built by the Beaker people who later went on to build Stone Henge.
Then we drive into the town of Antequera - a prosperous town in Roman times, through to the elaborate 19th century which the town centre architecture reflects, and to today with it's pleasant Spanish town buzz of life. The Torcal is a natural park close to Antequera which has the most amazing rock formations- one of Europe's greatest natural wonders.
